Hi guys,

I'm a first time watermelon farmer, with just under a quarter of an acre planted and expecting to start harvesting in August. I'm currently looking for the best ways to market (and sell) my crop. Any advice?

On matters concerning Melons. I know of a friend who harvested 700k worth of melons on less than 1acre plot

The Guy Must have had a heart attack. How do People proceed to Invest without thinking. You plant without an idea of where the Market for your Produce will Come from. Nkt.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God..

@AM When you go to school to study, do you know where you will work?

Be ready with whatever you have/do, so that when the opportunity comes youll be able to utilise it.

I beg to differ. You cannot compare eductaion with a crop. One is perishable the other one lasts as long as you live.

In agrigulture especially commercial you must work with some degree of certainity.A plan that must be followed to the letter in terms of time to plant, weed, fertilizer, harvest and the big one where to sell.

The produce is perishable so must be sold within a given time frame.

Love is beautiful and so are those who share it.With Love, Marriage is an amazing event in ones life time, the foundation of joy, happiness and success.
