To buy stocks or a plot...advice

What would You advice a friend at the diaspora who has 400k at His disposal, should He invest in stocks - KCB / DTB / TPS SERENA / EABL or rather top His money to 500k and buy a plot in kitengela or Isinya ,ideas please !

Never have I lost a dime on land. My losses in stocks have been recuperated by gains in land.

Plot anytime, I think stocks have now reached some saturation i dont see any other 10+ points on any counter. But time will tell

I have nothing against wazuans and the advice they give but if you have money to invest and no knowledge of investments,isn't it better to first invest in knowledge than risk losing money?

How has simba performed last 5 years? I remember 'Rich.com' advising me to buy for the longterm. that was 5 years ago.

If you bought a plot in the 1990's you knew how to be long term prices were stagnant for a very long time

If you bought a plot in the 1990's you knew how to be long term prices were stagnant for a very long time

5years ago @30bob KCB was a bloody expensive stock.. If you were buying stocks 5years ago with P/Es of 20+ who can you blame for the poor performance except yourself??!!

If you buy 1acre plot in isiolo today for 5million when will you ever see a return??

in this game what matters most is "price of entry!!

precisely guru..so five years ago the kcb stock price was same as today!? Holding long term stocks sometimes can be tricky ..
