Came across this site giving a global snapshot of economies. http://www.tradingeconomics.com/
For Kenya... is unemployment rate really 40%? Even with the recent boom.. or is it a case of many people looking for work.

I would not consider it impossible to have 40% unemployment, that is about 16M people. Considering the number of young people in the population that figure could be a close estimate.
