I guess I'll stick with the exploitative DStv for a while and watch from the sidelines first lest I'm left with a useless decoder after the provider folds as has been the case. BBI will solve it :)

I've had DST for about 20 months now and I think they are now repeating ALL the programmes on my favourite channels; viz - DiscWorld, NatGeo Wild; NatG; FOOD; BBC Ent; Universal; Action.... I'm not into sports.
So, I guess I will move to one of these new guys... Zuku or StarTimes

I'm not even thinking of GTV, I was thinking more of SmartTV. I'm a wait and see Kenya and not a pioneer or early adopter when it comes to electronics and vehicles. I know DStv are pointing a finger at me laughing all the way to the bank but that's temporary. Now how's StarTimes customer service and picture quality? BBI will solve it :)

Just what I wanted. I am shocked the local channels have become much clearer than before. I think I should grab more for guys in shags. Before you do that, confirm with CC if there is a signal presence huko kwenu mashinani. BTW,i have been to a community where startimes did a 6 day marketing and sales blitzkrieg this past week (That's how i got hooked up.On day one,the marketing team run out of the decoders and had to raid their nearest dealers where they collected a further 24 pieces. This were snapped inside one hour).I estimate they got over 1K customers, majority of them, formerly with DSTV.....Looks tough. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

Still no soccer? The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.

Still no soccer? they show the French, Dutch, Mexican, mls, Scottish, belgian and other leagues where commentary is in some foreign language I don't understand . plus the single weekend epl match Kiss tv and UBC air, plus repeats of the major epl games.

I must be the only kenyan who doesn't watch soccer. I'd rather chew bitter herbs than watch soccer. Discovery,Nat Geo,Foreign News,Cartoons, such, grab my interest. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

That's why I have given up on DSTV... ACtually, I haven't renewed mus sub this month so far and we aren't missing it... Happy to see that even the kids aren't missing ANY TV.
