Many Kenyans are setting up businesses, that is not the problem. The problem in my opinion is just how big Kenyans think with their ideas.

There are not enough Kenyans who want to build scalable businesses that can conquer Africa/the world. A Kenyan will set up a small biashara and once it is making a few hundred thousand a month, will be OK. Our South African and Nigerian brothers on the other hand, will see their businesses thriving at home and then aim to conquer the next underserved market. That is where the difference in greatness lies.

In the spirit of wazua @Laughing out loudly you are forgiven because I believe you are just joking.

Yes @Danny Young is my eldest son. They are the spirit of the future, youths with an eye on entrepreneuship which is the best way to go.
I knew about stocks at 40 and real estate at 46 as I was born in 1962. @Danny Young has gotten some financial education before age 20!!!

The difference is clear. He and his siblings has gotten the foundation and are equipped with sufficient basics to surpass me, that is every parents prayer for his children.

Karibu Sana @danny Young !!!
It makes me remember @the Deal the young focussed namibian student in Kenyan university in this forum who ignored blouses and skirts in Kenya(using his words), saved his pocket money to buy a lap top , invested in knowledge and it is on his way to financial freedom .
We need more of such focussed youths in this forum to keeep the wazua spirit higher and higher.
Afterall most of the investment old ones in this forum is to hold on trust and pass the baton to young ones to do it better than us in the near future.
The wazua spirit as members is to educate and inform and learn from others within the limit of what we know in any chosen area irrespective of our differences in tribes, nationalities, etc. .

Let me help you further
If you and your son is in the same church, it is
better not to go to church

If you and your son is in the same club, you should resign from the club.

My friend swallow your retrogressive, myopic and primitive reasoning that do not hold any water, learn to change with changing times instead of beating about the bush.

Honest, I can seem to find any reason why a dad and a son can be on this site, that doesn't mean you shouldn't use internet or technology. By the way your vocabularies are too hard for me, so take it slow old man.

But I am still convience that you two are upto no good, before we know you'll be selling a scam around here, I don't think Danny is your son, I think you're Danny and Danny is you!

smile Trying to 'run-away' are you? (Un)Honorably?Shame on you
@Young, let him bePray . He has gotten the point.

Alot of Kenyan business passed down to the next generation fail. Why? Lack of mentorship. I'd want my son(s) to know what I do and how I do it. Heck, they might even have better ideas. Not only will I get into the same sites, we'll go to the same places and challenge each other while we are at it. Walk the walk, together.
