You can get a stall in Eastleigh, but ordinary Kenyans will not buy anything from you. They believe Warias stuff are cheaper. Watasema wewe unataka kuwagonga. I would advise you employ Warias to manage your stall...sounds mad,but it's true.

Gd luck though.

Eastleigh, stalls are available but expensive. The last time I visited there, rent is from 25ks. They also quote goodwill in $ and not less than 10ks,some even go for as high as 30ks. g/will is used in loose sense there, for example even a new building has g/will. I am told margins are low, unless you are a big importer you won't make it.

Am also looking for a stall in town,if you know one, reach me at bore114@yahoo.com

Bashka and others:

I have seen some empty stalls the ones facing Jeevanjee gate,Muindi Mbingu st. They are so many and the ones occupied are just 30% of the total stalls. I think it's because of less human traffic, but it's worth checking out. Also some new stalls coming up at Moi Ave near Kenchic/Sanford takeaways. Careful with brokers and middlemen esp when signing the contract.
