AlphDoti,

There are a couple of fallacies with Pascal's wager.

First of all, which God?

Is it a God who is indifferent to the fact that you are 'worshiping' him just to protect your self in case he exists! A God who is indifferent to faith!

First of all, which God?

When I say "God", I mean:
- The manufacturer of this universe or
- The Creator of this universe or
- The Inventor of this universe or
- The producer of this universe or

This creator, inventor, producer, manufacturer different languages call Him differently:
- Allah in Arabic
- "God" in English
- Mungu in swahili
- Ngai in Kikuyu
- Mulungu in Kamba
- Nyasaye in Luyia
- Asis in Kalenjin

I'm talking about the same God referred to by the Christians and Muslims.
Theis being does not change when the name is different, no it is the same.
A cow is a cow whether you call it Vache (French) or Kuh (German) or ngombe (swahili).

By the way Christian and Muslim share a lot in common
For example: they share the same scriptures:
- Torah (given to Moses),
- Zabur (given to David) and
- Injeel (given to Jesus)

AlphDoti,

So, if based on Pascal's wager, I worship a manifestation of Brahman, or any other non judeo-christian God, that's cool?

@deadpoet actually, this word Brahman is similar to Arabic word "Ar-Rahman" which is similar to Swahili word "Rahma" which means rehema or Mercyful.
Quote:
In Hinduism, Brahman is the one supreme, universal Spirit that is the origin and support of the phenomenal universe.[1] Brahman is sometimes referred to as the Absolute or Godhead[2] which is the Divine Ground[3] of all matter, energy, time, space, being, and everything in and beyond this universe.

You can call this being anything, as long you call it good names
Quran 17:110 says: "Call upon Allah, or call upon Rahman: by whatever name ye call upon Him, (it is well): for to Him belong the Most Beautiful Names.."

Meaning by whatever name you invoke God, it is the same.

Alph has 'united' all 'Gods' and asserted that God is one.

And I assert that humanity is one. This identity is the source of peace and harmony and excellence for all.

Without this identity there can be no conversation, and conversation is 'rooted' in God.

Therefore, Atheism and or agnosticism cannot be true or valid. For is the atheist interested in goodness? Then let him come out of commentating and soil his hands in giving goodness meaning. After all, who else will give the word meaning?

Human identity must entail God identity. Hence at every moment must the human submit totally to God.

And those who submit are the Man God.

No, no, I did not assert that all 'gods' are the same One God Shame on you
I'm only talking about different names for the same God who is the creator of the universe.

Other gods claimed by some people are made out wood or stone, and you know wood and stone is created. These people carved them into idols and worshiped them as god.

No. Not these ones.
- These ones cannot benefit you.
- They cannot move themselves.
- The owner has to move them from one corner of the house to another.
- And when they accidentally fall and break, the owners go to the market and buy their gods from the carver.
