The trick is to drive slow while keeping all four wheels on top of the furrows. Speeds of about 50kph are not so bad.

why bother?go to kangemi busstage and get the vehicles on transit to Uganda.you will pay 500 bob for a ride in a Porsche Cayenne or one of the big cars even before the owner steps in e.g M7 or Bobby Wine to Eldoret and when coming back you come via Shuttle.That is how I travel weekly.

the bridge at the railway crossing is being done by the young guys - but I saw some Chinese dudes at the diversion before getting into eldoret - may be the young guys had hired them.

The vehicles have no insurance. It's just a few months since a family was wiped on mombasa road travelling in such a vehicle.

This is true. Some of them just have 3rd party insurane for 1 month!
