Where is the El Nino?

We were told to prepare ourselves for the heaviest rains to fall in a long time. Can't see them, at least in Nairobi. Has the met dept blundered again?

Depends on where you are growing. Expected onset for the rains was to be as from September in some areas to first week of November in others. Check www.meteo.go.ke for more info on the forecasts.

It all depends on your location, coz wherever i am, we are experiencing rains in plenty hata kuharvest imekuwa chida.

Me too! I am having to water and it's very expensive!

Now I know how great God is. He can water my shamba in seconds yet it is so expensive for us to water only the foot of the young plants!

i find it funny that whenever the met guys say there is not going to be enough rains it rains heavily and when they say there is going to be heavy rains, the opposite happens.

Here in Ngoliba it's very dry for more than a week. Even tractors cannot dig properly. Hasara tupu!

But what could be happening. My farm is 50km away from a place where it has been raining the 'cats and dogs'!

@majimaji how come you don't have maji? Ngoliba must be somewhere in Ol Kalou.
