Githae still wants to tax mobile money even that free money service offered by Yu & Airtel - http://bitly.com/OZYLxk

I still insist that this is a bad idea & the timing is equally horrible with the econ condition. Why can't the treasury technocrats be more creative? Slamming the breaks on mobile money, which is almost 25% of the KE GDP is a stupid move...

If they mantain the H2 2011/12 momentum then H1 2013 profits will likely to be around Kes8-9bn up +100% due to the low base created last year & effiency gains i.e stable Shilling=low costs. Revenue growth is likely to dissapoint investors, I have 5-9% as an estimate. SCOM had a slow Q1 if the CCK data is to go by, having said that the stock is fully valued at Kes4.20-4.30.

Reading a fair value of KES 4.63. We may see a thread ‘Safaricom 5 Point’

VWAP @4.35/-

5cts away from Morgan Stanley's target. I expect 5/- to be tested by yr end.

the nse is rallying! every day it's gaining 0.5%. today closed above 4100. euphoria is going to grip/is gripping this market. crossing 4000 points seems to catalyze events. the uncertainty of the direction of the index is palpable. could wanjiku and foreigners help me achieve my 2 yr targets before coming elections?? it would have sounded impossible 6 months ago, but not now.

Yet it was rated a sell TP 2.80 just 5 months ago.
