Check with the "Pharmacists". My guess is that they are making like 300% per shipment (not per annum).

Simple;
1. Guts.
2. A heart of stone.
3. You should know people aka a network in the right places.

The field is not too crowded like the stock market, forex or real estate.

I also think you need qualifications (Licenced by the board - degree needed) to deal with the drugs unless you are planning on the other powder.

@ Mawinder is right. You do not need to waste valuable dollars and time going through college. Just choose the right product and price and you are good to go. I think my Global Markets Lecturer called it niche market or something like that.
@ Richdad, the "licensing board" simply requires you to be street smart. All those other qualifications ni bure.
@ Jamani, You are not missing some facts. You got all the facts wrong!

The pharmacy and pharmacist in discussion don't sell prescriptions, they sell DRUGS.

Best performing assets...? Try any one or all of these wazuan ideas;
i) Open roof(less) greenhouse,
ii) DVD Movies stores with 60K return daily,
iii) The Mboss pharmacy (madawa ya ku...),
iv) Buy shares in YU and Airtel (they are both on sale),
v) Convert your house into a full body massage parlour,
vi) Buy a condo on the 22nd floor of Le Mac for 15M.
vii) Open a funeral service equipments for your KIFO SACCO,
