Lack of poor planning, narrow minded leaders, they should start by demolishing houses on road reserves, work on the drainage, there is so much to do...

If the lack of municipal authority is the problem then I bet we will have lots of issues once the county govts start operating. Imagine having 1 authority instead of the town and municipal councils of Mavoko, Machakos, Thika, Ruiru, Kiambu, Karuri, Limuru and Kikuyu. That one governor might care more about the rural areas at the expense of Nairobi Metropolitan satellite urban areas.

...so if you bought land there you use it as a burial ground?@shygal I meant the level of planning is poor (wonder if that makes sense)...wont all these problems be fixed in the near future, the road is earmarked for dualling and with the bomas intersection being completed traffic jams will surely reduce once u hit langata road with free flowing traffic u kan do 15 mins to ronga, the dam at kiserian is already complete, water will be pumped all the way to ronga, for the dam to be built a sewage system was to be in place,i dont think this has been done yet...security thats an issue country wide,it can be sorted out at a county level with the right governor and structures, garbage collection over to the residents to do something about it...all said and done everything can be fixed at a price though.
