And i am wondering why the man waited so long. They have their reasons so i will not be judgmental.

Guys, if you love her, ring her now! Usingojee hii. This is an important lesson from this.
....above all, to stand.

Yeah this was a sad story.
The 54-yr old mama knew she was about to log out of planet earth - she had always wanted to die a Mrs and not a Miss.

My people are dying for lack of knowledge?

Stress? Many sexual partners? Polluted environment? Pesticised food? GMOs? Too much alchohol? Too much sugar (soda, sweeteners et al)? Too much carbohydrates and fats? Lack of exercise? Some house/office paint? Mutating viruses, bacteria, fungi? Chlorine? Insufficient nutrition (lack of supplementing)? Bad medication/supplements? Self diagnosing (Or chemist diagnosing)? Smoking (Cigarettes, Car fumes, Factory fumes, Fire fumes, Jiko/3 stones)? Constipation/Lack of cleaning the colon? Birth control medication? Genetics? Toothpaste/Dish washing/hand wash(containing triclosan)? Microwaves? Amalgam tooth fillings? Lack of sex(mambo na prostrate cancer but I stand corrected)? Radioactive emissions from some gadgets (Cell phones, transmitters et al)? Plastics? Karma? Middro Crass? Na kadhalika

There are products out there we are feeding on that are causing cancer.
It has nothing to do with lifestyles,i tend to think cooking oil and soap.

Sasa wewe ni how!? Ofcourse you can dictate to a dentist! A gyno! A whatever! It's your body and you have the right to know... unless you've volunteered to be a guinea pig. Those fillings are bad and very common, cause mercury poisoning, causes candida overgrowth, you start getting yeast infections et al sehemu nyeti(cervical cancer and others), then runway is not clear for landing, and a poor guy gets prostrate cancer. Ama you unknowing give him the candida, then you both expire and when you go to heaven, God asks you why you finished yourselves?

mukiri you sound like somebody I know. The person even had a book on these cancer causing products.
Nilichanuka ever since.
Infact the reason I avoid eating out is cz I fear what may have gone into the food. saturated fats, spices flavours, colourings such. At times they reuse the oil till it turns black! The same oil used for fish will be used to fry your egg!!
but we just love eating anything, anyhow, anywhere and anytime.

To the ladies> those perfumed 'pampers' lol are a health risk.
The first thing I will ask my dentist is what fillings he used on my tooth!Sad

By the way Mukiri,I am very angry because people don't know these things!!
Was told by the dentist eti most kids with teeth probs are as a result of antibiotics taken before sleep.Failure to brush causes the dawa to erode the teeth polepole.!
Maybe we are all dying!smh.

If it is someone whom you'd like to 'help' not get prostrate cancer, it is me!

If you cook at home, aluminum sufurias are bad news. Stainless steel is the way to go. Anything plastic, plates, mugs etc, shauri yako! Middro crass will give you cancer.

It's inevitable, death, that is. Ata ufanye nini utakufa! Unless your name is Moses or Elijah, then you might have a slight chance. So saidianeni (refer to first paragraph smile )

@Vinii do not be deceived.

All these R&F dying of cancer have these precautions in place.

Just live and avoid what you can,but what you cannot leave to God.

The more I think about this story the more I am convinced that this thread could also be given the title 'The woman who scored a victory against death'. Of course it's not just about the woman alone, but we must decorate 'the most deserving party'.

I have been in a situation similar to her's thrice, and in all of them I have failed miserably.

The first involved my father. He was suffering from a terminal illness, and I was busy trying to find a cure for my aching heart and mind. And one day it dawned on me that the old man could die at any time, and we had never shared a moment of love. I had never hugged or kissed his face, and neither had I ever told him that I loved him. In fact, those were the days I was fighting to find love. So the only thing I could do was weep for a month.

Then came my mother. I was with her when the doctor broke the news that she had cancer. She asked me, 'am I going to die?' I had read plenty of stories about surviving cancer, so I was optimistic. But from that day on, we all got so absorbed with living/surviving that we forgot about love. Even when I was so sure that she was going to die, my mind was so lost that I couldn't even kiss and hug and cry with her. It was as if such an act would mean surrender.

My next case was a fiancée. She too was terminally ill. Before the illness everything was sweet, and how we hugged and kissed! But when death came knocking I became a Stoic. Our last conversation went like this; 'So I am dying?'

'But living is not a privilege either'. I answered.

But look at the subject of this thread! She had time to love. I tried to look at her face, and alas! She was glowing with beauty.

Yes, her expression of love was an act of surrender but the consequence is a victory that will forever nourish humanity. I am taking her straight to essyks 'mashujaa's list'.

wow Tycho. What a sad story. People go through so much pain in life.
But I have deep respect for them because this is what I discovered.
Their outlook on life is very balanced and sober.
They never judge others because life taught them that you can have everything working out right today today but lose it the next.
A family today and solo the next. Castle today but homeless tomorrow. Just like Job.
Life's circumstances teaches us humility which God in his awesome and majestic splendour will never reject.

We humans take what God has given us for granted. We only realise their importance when its too late.
I believe their children owe much respect to their Father for that brave act.

And hey guess what? The couple is from Nyeri,Mukurweini.Yeah the very stereotyped nyeri.
God rest her soul in peace.

Its more riskier being on Kenyan roads (Matatu or private) than eating all those mentioned foods and landing on a "potholed" airport combined. Live and do good at every opportunity. Life will take care of itself. No one will come out of this alive.
