Another bank that surprised me not only for good service but for working systems is Coop Bank. Queues at Coop Bank are long but they have a very efficient system eg you don't need to fill withdrawal slips to withdraw and the teller free alert thing is brilliant. Oh and I almost forgot, most of their teller booths are occupied unlike in most of the other banks.

Ati u are not 'premier' enough? Is the Yaya centre branch for premier customers alone? if so don't blame them much if u were not a premier customer, at least they specified who should go there if it's premier only. Yes, huo ujinga niliona KCB with their KCB disADVANTAGE. Ati kuna macustomer wale wako na advantage kushinda wengine. I love CFC STANBIC for their excellent customer service to all regardless of what type of account u have with them.

Agreed CFC stanbic have the best well trained staff in terms of excellent service across the board with the average age of around 28yrs and you hardly get those 1988 mlolongo voting lines BACLAYS wud anyone still operate an account at baclays in 2012 helloooo.
To me baclays is where people with rent accounts bank

Seems am the only Barclays customer here. Have banked with them for 10+ yrs, even have a loan with them that am servicing. I rarely go to the bank branch but use their ATMs, also using their mobile money which is ok since I can even deposit or withdraw funds via Mpesa. Also have a barclaycard which I use to shop locally and online. Also have some Barclays shares. Whenever I need to visit the bank I go to Westgate branch that's open till 10pm. For me, it's so far so good. Have no complaints whatsoever. Am a happy customer. Interestingly chose Barclays coz my parents banked with them.

Was in the UK and was surprised that Barclays isn't as big there as it is in Kenya coz its overshadowed by HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, Citibank, Natwest, Santander, Northern Rock etc.

we're whining here because complaining there doesnt produce results. I'm doing more than whining, like I said, I'm closing my last account with them.
