Where is the 1 shilling??

A boy saw a Tshirt worth Ksh97 & liked it .Since he didn't have cash, he borrowed Ksh50 from his elder brother and Ksh50 from his uncle.
So he got Ksh100 since the shirt is Ksh97 he was able to buy it. He was left with a balance of Ksh3, being a honest boy he returned Ksh1 to the brother and ksh1 to the uncle and he was left with Ksh1 shillings, right?
The boy now owes his brother Ksh49 and the uncle Ksh49.
In that case Ksh 49+49 =98 plus Ksh1 that he was left with
=Ksh99. The boy asks.. WHERE IS the 1bob?? Think

The value of the Tshirt was 97 therefore the elder bro and the uncle contributed ksh48.5 each to the tshirt. add what the boy returned becomes ksh49.5 each and split the ksh1 he remained with crowns it at ksh50 each.
