Ok, I admit to changing my usual handlesmile . I hardly ever post though but I follow keenly on every post.
I seriously need some advice.
I am 29 years old, recently married and no children. Live in Nairobi in a house paying 50k rent a month. I have an ultra modern villa worth about kshs. 13 million around 200km from Nairobi , fully furnished and in a secure area, and i am thinking of converting it to a holiday home. It is near Amboseli National Park. It was meant to be my retirement home , but at 29 that seems to be a far off age. I usually visit the place every weekend to check on my farm. I own four acres under a cash crop and hoping to increase acreage sometime soon after I harvest in December. I also have other pieces of land which are worth about Kshs. 1 million give or take. They are next to a tarmac road and not developed. I also have a borehole which gives out 20k liters of clean water a day, which I want to sell with those "Clean Water" Tanks and maybe even package and sell in half litre bottles d'oh! . There is water scarcity in our region. I only need like 2,500 ltrs of water a day for my own consumption.
My wife drives a Nissan X-Trail and I drive a Lexus and their combined worth from last months Valuation is about Kshs. 4.3 Mil.
We have about Kshs. 1,000,000 in the account and we don't have any loans or owe anyone any money.
Recently I lost my job, and I don't think I want to go back to being employed again. I'm not really suited for an office job and I want to go into farming full time as I have some experience, but also I want to hear from Wazuans how you would go about your life considering my situation. I neither drink nor smoke nor have any vices.Pray
My questions are;
1. What would be my best investment opportunities right now?
2. Would it be a wise idea to rent out the Villa for an income ? I am concerned since it is a fully furnished house and i might get breakages and stuff. Sad
3. I have only taken a 700k loan once at Equity Bank and I feel I might take another one to invest somewhere else. I am thinking about it, but would appreciate some ideas guys.
4. My wife is not employed has a small business makes about 200k a month and wants to expand it. The business is near our house in Nairobi as she is keen on being a housewife and taking care of our kids. We dont have any kids yet but God willing we might pop a young'in next year so we want to be prepared. We do not want to suffer any lifestyle change.

Would really appreciate ideas from you guys.
Thanks Wazua Family.
P.s. And no, I am NOT an MPig Shame on you , didn't inherit any money, didn't stealShame on you . Just got a lucky breakPray and had a good education.

First sell one of the cars and use the money to buy a pick-up.

Then buy three "grade cows" for milk.... you won't regret...

Sounds like "...I have 4 million dollar in Burkina Faso and my dad was a Kenyan MP..." story.

Good luck!

Cows require feed, and intensive and proper handling, and the milk needs a reliable market. I am at least 80km from Emali town but on a good access road. I recently was at the Nairobi Trade Fair to check out the cows and one could probably give me a yield of about 30-40 litres a day. I would need a reliable market for this. A good idea though, I will follow it up.
Cant sell one car coz my wife uses one and I use the other.I have an old lorry on the farm which could be refurbished for the "Clean Water" business.

Thanks for the tip smile

You are entitled to your opinion @Impunity. However, it is the real deal , and furthermore, I am Just asking for advise. Isn't that the Wazua spirit? Sad
