@Magigi,I need to travel on Sunday without fail to Mogadishu with my technician.He does not have a passport.Any tips on successful stay in Mogadishu?I will be there for 2 days.

I think from the little I know about you, you can survive anywhere...will the TechnicIan be dispatching somebody..
But on a serious note...
1. Leave/deposit your dick with your wife before departure.
2. Keep your religion to yourself.God will understand.
3. If your technician is a lady Hijab is a must.
4. At duty free shops avoid the alcohol section...concentrate on ketepa zone
5. Your host should brief you more on security and dos and donts when you are there.

Yes you will need a passport and a visa to enter Mogadishu. You will also need different visas to enter Puntland and Somaliland. Unops should advise and facilitate that. It would be easier for you.

Point 1,the way I had psyche to eat Somali fish.I have tried my contacts in the passport section and a passport will take at least 10 days.Let me see if I can get him a Namibian passport.
