There you go!! symptoms of an upper class. If a Nairobian doesn't know what Forward Traveller is, he is an Upper class. !! oops am sorry.Perhaps you don't live in nbo so you are excused. But will help describe them kidogo cz I am their valued customer. -They ply jogoo road route. -The body is long kama train plus they make this screeching sound to announce their presence and alert cops eti wanacome. -Did you ever see those face me, I face you Lunga lunga mats? The head looked so different from body, that they kept reminding me of a cockroach. Only a hama hama or meandering class has seen those. Hiyo ingine Mkeyid.Lets jst say I have seen both sides of the divide. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

I don't care how anyone use their money just as long as they don't call me asking me to send the stuff.
I live and work abroad and I have been ask to buy and send incredible things to my fellow Friends in Kenya, infact I just recieved and iphone 5 request a couple of days ago from one of the so called Middleclass person in Kenya, For christ sake I use iphone 3. Other request I have gotten includes"please send me some money to start a business" and when I ask what kind of business, the answer is? Car import business!
I know Kenyans living abroad that are basically dead broke, never went to school, work 2 jobs cleaning butts just to finance incredible lifestlye for their Friends and relatives in Kenya. So anyone pulling an iphone with A T & T or T-mobil, those came from relatives!

This thread is too funny, but the bottom line is we all need to live and let live...I don't have a problem with somebody seeking the finer things in life and living a good life as long as they can afford it....
We only live once, enjoy life now, this is not a dress rehearsal....If you want that Benzo or RR and can afford it (hata kama ni loan) get it and don't ever look back or regret your decisions.....And most importantly, listen to your heart, don't listen to what people have to say about how you live your life otherwise you will always be questioning your decisions.....
Life is too short, live it up while you still can....

Wewe! stop contradicting yourself. Unajua kuna HAJA na TAKA? or is it TAKI?My heart tells me it's immoral to live beyond my means.I may be able to afford the range, but can I maintain it? Will other areas of my life suffer as a result? I will need answers to that befor I can get a tuk tuk. "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good.

Kama wewe hauna haja na gari then good for you but don't critisize those decide to get one ati kwa sababu ulimpatia deni. Life is like a game of chess inorder to win a game or gain an advantage sometimes you sacrifice a certain piece. Life is all about making sacrifices so as to gain something of a higher nature.

This is true, and this thing you sacrifice and get is of value to you definitely and may not be of value to someone else. So please stop judging and live your life. It's my life It's now or never I ain't gonna live forever I just wanna live while I'm alive

Wewe! stop contradicting yourself. Unajua kuna HAJA na TAKA? or is it TAKI?My heart tells me it's immoral to live beyond my means.I may be able to afford the range, but can I maintain it? Will other areas of my life suffer as a result? I will need answers to that befor I can get a tuk tuk. Essy, I agree with you that it's unwise to live beyond our means, but in my post I said that if you can afford it without living beyond your means then go ahead and get what your heart desires...By depriving yourself because of what people might say or think you will only be giving them power over your life...It's your life, if you have the money and your heart desires something nice (expensive or otherwise) get it and move on....Life is too short....But like you said, make sure that if you buy that RR, you can afford to maintain it too...I would think that that part of the equation would be common sense but then again, I have seen people pushing big wheels and they are perenially driving on E since they can't afford the gas/petrol to fill up the tank....But it's their life, I can't judge somebody's decision, if they are happy with the big wheels and how they operate it, then I am happy for them, at least they got what they desire...Life is a matter of choices and common sense...People worry way toooooo much about what society thinks about them when the only person's opinion that should really matter is their own.....You can feed the whole world and people will still have something negative to say about you so it's best to just do what your heart desires and not worry about what people think...
