No Satan is not omnipresent..I hope this is a biblical discussion not arguments where we get the facts from the Bible..here are some Bible evidence
c&p
1)Satan is a created being (Ezekiel 28:15), and he is certainly not God, though he would like to be (Isaiah 14:13-14). And, of course, this is what he promised Eve (Genesis 3:5).
2)He is roamer In Job 1:7 Satan said that he had been “roaming about on the earth,” which surely doesn’t sound like omnipresence. Also, in Job 1:6 Satan came before God.
3)In Revelation 12:9 Satan is cast down to earth, out of heaven so he is not in heaven he is only in earth.
3)Satan has a network of demons, and these (like angels) seem to have a certain restricted territory in which to function (Daniel 10:20; 12:1). I take it that since Satan has demons strategically placed around the world, he is kept informed as to what is happening in the world, but this is not omniscience, nor omnipresence.

It's good to have a Pastor around, to quote the Bible, only when the bible is convenient to him.

If you ask this pastor about some of the horrible verses in the bible I guarantee you that he will vanish into thin air....Pastors are just mere mortals like everyone else and are just trying to earn a living in this world....What better way to do it than to get into a market that's already saturated with willing buyers who don't ask any questions(Theists)????If I had such a loyal clientele base I would be on the forbes world's richest...lol...Being a pastor or preacher or priest or whatever else of the 100+ monikers these people go by is one of the easiest ways to earn a living...

Everybody is trying to survive and make a dollar in this world, so I won't knock the pastors' hustle because they found their niche and are using their gift of garb to make a living usually at the expense of gullible followers...But that takes a level of intelligence to milk people out of their hard earned money, so willing buyer, willing seller rule applies here too...I can't hate on that....Everybody's gotta do what they gotta do...

I don't know the exact timeline but it doesn't really matter, I am just glad that I unchained myself from those shackles of religion and gods that were holding me back....[/quote]

I meant to stay off this thread and just read it to know what people opine. But I think I saw 'Yesu Wangu' mentioned somewhere so I thought why not?

Back in the day, one of those I got 'enlightenment' from was JZ Knight (she specifies no puncuation in her name for some reason, whatever).

She is a channel for 'Ramtha', among other things. So when I remember those things and days, I think I now know better now. It is good to speak with knowledge and better still with hindsight after the experience.

One day, after defecting, in desperation and dismay, I once asked someone (who was of the opinon that spiritualism is a mere human imposture) to tackle in a battle of wits akina JZ Knight, Wayne Dyer, Marianne Williamson, Deepak Chopra and / or their local variants in a one on one about their faith and opinion. (Almost everybody I meet holds nuggets of their perspectives close to their hearts but I digress).

I should not have done it. I should not depend on evidences from the other side to win local arguments even though the other side will readily provide all the sensible proof needed to convince one of the unseen stuff (to lure), unlike this side I am on currently. I would rather loose the argument.

Anyway, thankfully, he declined and preferred to hang around me and continued to make me his bean bag.

In a nutshell, 'Ramtha' aka Satan is around. As to whether he is omnipresent .... is a sideshow, a red herring.

Knowing if he is omnipresent or not avails no advantage over knowing he is present.

I found this topic interesting so I C&P the following Maori poem. it covers most of the bases, if you really think about it: Existentialism, Paganism, Scientology, Christianity, Budhism, Islam and probably even aspects atheism

MY LAW – TIEME RANAPIRI
The sun may be coloured, yet ever the sun
Will sweep on its course till the Cycle is run.
And when into chaos the system is hurled
Again shall the Builder reshape a new world.

Your path may be clouded, uncertain in your goal:
Move on – for your orbit is fixed to your soul.
And though it may lead into darkness of night
The torch of the Builder shall give it new light.

You were. You will be! Know this while you are:
Your spirit has travelled both long and afar.
It came from the Source, to the Source it returns-
The Spark which was lighted eternally burns.

It slept in a jewel. It leapt in a wave.
It roamed in the forest. It rose from the grave.
It took on strange garbs for long eons of years
And now in the soul of yourself It appears.

From body to body your spirit speeds on
It seeks a new form when the old one has gone
And the form that it finds is the fabric you wrought
On the loom of the Mind from the fibre of Thought.

As dew is drawn upwards, in rain to descend
Your thoughts drift away and in Destiny blend.
You cannot escape them, for petty or great,
Or evil or noble, they fashion your Fate.

Somewhere on some planet, sometime and somehow
You will reflect your thoughts of your Now.
My Law is unerring, no blood can atone-
The structure you built you will live in – alone.
Your lives with your longings will ever keep pace
And all that you ask for, and all you desire
Must come at your bidding, as flame out of fire.

Once list’ to that Voice and all tumult is done-
Your life is the life of the Infinite One.
In the hurrying race you are conscious of pause
With love for the purpose, and love for the Cause.

You are your own Devil, you are your own God
You fashioned the paths your footsteps have trod.
And no one can save you from Error or Sin
Until you have hark’d to the Spirit within.

He is headed to do right by his fellow man...That's all that matters....Doing right because it's the right thing to do, not because I am trying to please some deity so that I can hopefully get a pass into this non-existent heaven in return.....I see things very clearly...It's almost like getting a new lease on life...You guys can keep praising and worshipping your fictitious gods, to each his own, maybe you will get the big mansions and gold paved roads when you die, I am not interested in all that after I die, I would rather strive to make this world and everybody in it have the proverbial big mansion and gold paved roads instead, because this is all we get, I am not delusional to think that I will be rewarded in heaven, am not that weka minded, I subscribe to trying to make this world as good as possible for everyone...You guys can keep your rewards when you get to "heaven" I am not interested in hypocrisy.......

AlphaDoti, interesting that. A few questions for you as you seem well versed with dini:

What are your thoughts on al-badiri?

Would you advocate it's use, if at all you believe in it?

Is it good or bad jinn that are involved in doing the actions that follow 'kusomewa'. Or it is not jinn who are involved?

Does the Quran touch on this?

For those who don't know, al-badiri is similar to 'kithitu'. Magigi atawasaidia apo...

hamburglar, how do you/will you inculcate atheistic principles to your kid? I know religious people will maybe take them to a place of worship. Will you tell a kid that hakuna Mungu and that all the neighbours are dumb for praying to an imaginary being? Or you will let it decide for itself?

Just wondering. I'm not judging or anything, but just want to see how an atheist would approach such an issue. Kwa hivyo usinitusiLaughing out loudly

Hakuna matusi, lol, when and if I have munchkins, religion and politics will never be discussed in my house...Those are two topics that I will not indoctrinate my kids with....I will let them choose their path, whatever makes them happy....If my kids ask me for my opinion, then I will tell them that I am an atheist and why I am an atheist but I will never take my kids to a church or a mosque and make a decision for them based on my belief..

I think everybody should be free choose for themselves in matters of religion and politics....People mistake atheists for evil people while the truth is that atheists want a better world and peace and all the other good things for everybody, just like everybody else does...The difference though is that atheists take a more logical approach to it in the sense that we understand that their is no omni everything deity that will give us all those things that I just mentioned and it's up to us (humans) to help provide a better life for our neighbors instead of praying to a god that seeems to be content just watching children die and doing nothing about it while he can stop the deaths with a snap of the fingers.....

Do theists have an answer as to why this god is letting children (innocent kids) starve to death every five minutes around the world? What's the logic behind that? Is there some kind of teaching that he is trying to teach us? If that's the case then this god has a warped way of thinking....Do theists have an answer as to why he is not giving us a cure for cancer and AIDS? To me it sounds like he is more interested in punishing people instead because that's what theists keep telling me will happen to me if I keep calling him out...I have been told that I will die, go to hell etc, but I just wonder why that would be warranted? Just because somebody challenged him now he deserves to burn for eternity???? he must be a very weak god if that's how he handles conflict, by sending people to burn...Well, if punishing me is a bigger priority to him than giving us a cure for bad diseases, then that proves my point that this god is evil and does not really care about his "children" that much...he is busy settling scores with guys like hamburglar that he doesn't have time to save a poor innocent baby from starving to death....What a loving god he is, right?

Where theists employ faith, we use reason.....That is the big difference...So far, faith in this god has not given us a cure for cancer, maybe this god is ok with people suffering and dying of cancer, because if I were this god, I would give humanity the cure for cancer on the very first day on the job...On day one, I would get rid of sin, get rid of suffering and get rid of all the troubles of the world....Why not? Why isn't this god doing that? According to theists, he has the ability to end suffering with a snap of his fingers, so what's holding him back?????So maybe we need to start using our heads if we are to rid oursleves of bad elements instead of waiting for this mythical god who prefers to play "mysterious" games while people contimue to suffer...We have been waiting on him for centuries but it sounds like he is not interested in theists prayers....Maybe he is too busy going through the list of people he needs to revenge and settle scores with or maybe he is just a snob that doesn't care about people suffering and kids dying.....or maybe, just maybe, he just doesn't exist..... :)
