Help!!Need to Start a filling station( petrol station)

Hi all,
i have this idea of starting a gas station in Kenya but am hesitating.. what are the cons and pros?
Someone suggested that i can franchise with one of the companies.... is it true this is happening?
Whats the figure?

Whats the figure? (Last time I heard it was happening I guess it still is. About the figure I remember somebody mentioning a refundable goodwill of Kshs 20M and cash purchase for fuel(That was like 6 years ago.)

Not to sound discouraging but it is quite a hustle. The levels of approval are crazy from one govt office to the other and a lot of requirements. I am still stuck at the municipal council level

Last i heard was goodwill of 2m so maybe someone in the industry can shed more light.
