Doctors have a lot of sob stories to tell. So do makangas.

Mr.Doctor, we are in a third world country. We know as tax payers and citizens that our facilities are a sham. In fact, we would love to tell Anyang Nyongo to go home right now, today!

But Doctors in Kenya cannot pretend to be better than other Kenyans.

Going on strike does not hurt Anyang and ODM. It is hurting the young girl in Eldoret who lost her arm since you fools were marching in the streets. It is hurting the poor at Coast General Hospital who are sleeping on the corridors as you fools are marching in the streets.

You fools are hurting Kenyans and we won't be forgetting soon.

You are lucky that you have Gen. Kiguoya and Fake Pamba up there. If it were me, I'd be in India right now recruiting.

I promise you, if you ever hear Alma is running rest assured that I'd go to India, China, Sudan and El Salvador to hire ching chong speaking doctors to replace you.

This is what I think you have done.

You are like a maid who is left with small babies to take care of in the house. You go on strike coz your boss is paying peanuts. As you are marching in the streets, the baby dies.

Would I ever want you back in my house?

@Alma, you miss the point entirely! It's NOT about pay. Imagine watching a mother and child die simply because someone in some office in Nairobi will not ensure we have elec and gloves in the hospital's theatre nevermind the doc is also doubling up as the anaesthetist? Why? Why does the government wait for the mortality rate of a far flung district hospital to rise so that they can send a paedetrician? Why? Yet they have the guts to say they are away having treatment for cancer not justin a private hopital in Nbi but ABROAD!! Someone's conscience has been seared by greed!!!

@ Alma, I challenge you to pick a doctor who's worked in some rural government hospital and find out the conditions they work in. Then go and use some other governement hospital where docs are not on strike like every other wanjiku does, then come back and post!

@Dia and other doctors out there.

We are Kenyans. We know our hospitals are pathetic to say the least. We know part of the problem is the gov't wants to build Konza before they equip the hospitals.

We also know our cops live in horrific conditions. The nurses in worse conditions. The teachers in terrible conditions.

Have no fear, you don't have to educate us on that.

But you are the only people who's actions have contributed to the direct death of Kenyans.

You lost any moral authority with me when I saw some guys in an accident moaning in a hospital I recently visited and you guys just watched because you were on strike.

I'm sorry but there is nothing worse than a doctor in this country at the moment. You deserve Anyang Nyongo and I hope and pray that you are actually fired so you can go do other jobs.

Obviously being doctors who care for the poor is not one of the things you do well. And you want my tax shillings to pay for your education? You can't be serious.

Do you mean the guy who died or the girl who lost her hand as the doctor who wants me to pay his Masters degree is marching in the streets during the day and masquerading during the night in a private hospital and has a clinic in the afternoon?
