We the middle class can rant and rave and posturize about issues facing Kenya but if we DO nothing, talking is all we'll ever do.
Two Sundays ago, a retired high school physics teacher shared how a little church in Kitui has transformed the economic status of its members and its community after he purposed to sambaza his little knowledge on agriculture with them. Together with them, they've learnt to harvest water and grow food all year round in an area that was a receipient of drought relief in years past. Now others from dry areas in our country are going to learn from them and the local politicians wnat to be associated with the project never mind that not even one shilling of the constituency's CDF was used for this project.
With economic empowerment and then education, I can't wait to see what kind of leader these guys will vote for in Future.
Now that that's off my chest, I'm off to do something for my community.
