Has the airport been used before or its waiting for maiden flight?
An airport waiting for maiden flight is a rare breed nowadays!
A story is told of a man who had all reasons to believe and was assured by the socket that the airport was awaiting maiden landing..the plug waited for years to unfold the gift during the honey moon time. He had to take the next immediate flight home a dejected man......

True! That is a quality underlying asset. I believe investors are willing to pay a premium for such assets. e.g. ScanGroup, Athi River Mining

A startup with untested cash flows can be disappointing . . . what if the business location is in the slopes of you know where, or the director is from nyeri, you may just want to go for good old bluechips

The bluechips are usually already taken. The earliest investors are the ones who make a killing e.g those who bought into CIC before listing, or early Facebook investors.
