help me invest 400k in a venture that would yield good returns

Whatever you did to get 400k,repeat it indefinately until wealthy:D.

@jaggernaut...having capital without ideas beforehand is putting the cart before the horse...about the sacco loan,you know better...your question answers itself...@flo...just continue saving as you discover what you like most...then come back to wazuaville with a querry like,''am planning to open an IT firm...how do I go about it''...when you have no particular destination in mind,any route will take you there.

@mutaga. had not seen that he/she actually saved the cash. He can save more as he identifies a project. Good that he opted not to buy the car - its a liability. I know @guru would recommend he buys KCB and HFCK meanwhile.

That said, there are numerous threads around here giving advice to those wanting to invest anything from 5k to millions. (S)He should check the archives.
