The KWS director has resigned to persue his personal interests. Keep up the good work wherever you go.

He did a great job at KWS. He will be missed. I hope the office is not taken up by a corrupt joker of the politician variety

I hear he is headed to the World Bank. He could make a good Cabinet Secretary though, or running mate, he would be of more value to RAO than HK or Bett in RV and nationally.

This is not correct. Get the right facts from Kipngetich and I quote him "I have read this in the papers. I don’t know how it was arrived at but as much as I would like to serve Kenyans, I have no interest in the police force. I cannot imagine being a policeman. The law says the job of an Inspector General will be filled through advertising, so it is not an issue of appointment. I simply mean I will not apply for the post. I don’t have the desire"

That's a man with a vision and focus - a very rare breed indeed.

There comes a time when a person leaves public service and pursues personal interests...

Great job at KETEPA and KWS and I wish him all the best in his personal interests

his issue with the IG job was the tenure of 4 years, he cited some management theories that it takes at least 7 years to turn around an organization and he dint want to be a failure (recollections from a koinange interview)

if he stood for governorship n your county in 2013, you are one lucky kenyan Applause Applause Applause
