Athi River Mining increased its

raise $50 million through a convertible
loan this year to finance expansion.
Earnings per share rose to 11.60
shillings from 10.90 shillings in 2010. It
recommended a dividend of 2.0

Hi Wazuans,
Anyone with an idea when ARM will be doing the split? Is it worth waiting for the split before boarding if I am interested in this stock?

Many thanks in advance for your thoughts.

I was actually toggling between the two. Bamburi pays good dividends, but I think with ARMs expansion prospects I might gain more in capital gain on a long haul. Perhaps I can split my money between.

Dangote cement is coming to town, Tanzania. This means competition to Kenyan cement exports in the east African region. The main players Bamburi and ARM will have to be clever.

A perfect company does not usually translate into the perfect share price!

ARM might have an awesome expansion plan and business model but the share price is very very expensive!!

Expensive stocks can either continue going up & remain expensive but most times they stagnate until earnings catch up to the share price...

Talk to investors who bought safcon, equity, KCB or HFCK 5 years ago Sad

if you were watching price action you should have entered when the stock crossed 195 in anticipation of the price hitting the pivot point of 200.stop loss should have been at around 185.

right now you should have been thinking of adding to your postition.

however its better to enter before corporate announcement and sell at the rally right before the split.
