Yes you are given individual ownership and you pay a portion of the land rates and service charge. In apartments land and common areas are co-owned with the rest of apartment owners.

I was advised to check on either conrete or metallic ones which i guess are quite expensive. Haven't checked the prices yet. Can the plastic ones survive without cracking? Use uPVC heavy duty type. These are golden brown in color and should be easily available in your local hardware. Assuming you are draining from single residential unit, 4inch pipe should be fine. You can use 150mm thick concrete to surround that section of pipe crossing through car park/ driveway. Asante limanika. I will go for the uPVC heavy duty 6inch since i will be draining from several residential units

Does anyone have contacts of a fundi who can make a 6m tower to suspend a 5,000ltr water tank? I am looking for one similar to the ones made by steel structures. However steel structures don't want my business just because i used my gmail address. I therefore decided to look a jua kali guy preferably a former employee. This way i will get an exact replica of their work and assist someone who can reply to my gmail address.
