Yes, people do get ill from microwaved food, but it's not as a result of the radiation. It is from food poisoning because of eating half-cooked food!
Read it ; laugh; then use the paper to carry your left-over chips from lunch. Take the chips home and warm them in your microwave! If you fall sick, it will be from eating chips coated with newspaper ink! Very well said. My problem is why the sub-standard paper could allow such an alarmist and scientifically inaccurate article to be published.

Seriously the incidents of cancer are becoming too many there has to be something causing it,why die at 39 or 4o when you could have easily doubled your age probably dying at 80 or there about, something is terribly wrong somewhere and we8 are paying for it...guess lifestyle change is one of the biggest causes...Anyone of you ever heard of the blue zones?Dan Buettner an author did a research as to why some people live long in some regions of the world he came up with interesting facts.http://www.oprah.com/health/The-Secrets-of-the-Blue-Zones/2 possunt quia posse videntur

I think and have read somewhere, using plastic containers to warm foods in a microwave can cause cancer. The radiation reacts with plastic components to form carcinogenic material. The vinyl chloride, the precursor to PVC, is a human carcinogen. If a plastic container is heated using microwave, the resulting chemical reaction produces cancer causing stuff. The World Health Organization's International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) have a report on this. In short avoid using plastics in the microwave.

This includes reusing mineral water bottles with hot water, or leaving them exposed to hot sunlight for prolonged periods.

The other danger with microwave is danger of scalding from hot liquids always stir any liquids after boiling with microwave
