Many people made their cash but greed won't let them sell. I still wonder what people were doing holding this counter at 15/-.
Right now if I'm Puma, I wouldn't pay more than 13/- a share! Why should I while I'm coming in as the messiah? It makes business sense.
Simple. Most shareholders (including the majority) have 'eaten' the loss. Then it is time to look ahead. KK remains in a strong position in the market. 1) It has cut back on Deal Poa hence it will sell lower volumes at a higher margin but probably (overall) higher profits.
2) K-Card in so many hands. The 2/- discount will still keep me going to KK.
3) The EAC economies continue expanding so volumes will increase over time.
4) Lower financing costs as interest rates drop from 28% to 20% and probably lower towards December.

Watch KK make money in H2 2012!

You are setting yourself up for serious heartache and ulcers!!

I have issues with a management that burns 30% of shareholder funds in a hedging experiment! Im out first thing tomorrow because my reason for holding KK was not the puma buyout!

OK. Which broker do you use? How many do you want to sell? What price?

Dyer & Blair!

I was being greedy. I bid at 13 but someone beat me to it. Care to lower it to 13.10 tomorrow?

I already got out today at an average of 13.85... smile I've Ploughed every last cent into simba and I ain't looking back!

Lets meet in 2013 & compare notes!

Given this loss, Id say 17.00 to be a fair buyout price
( I know....they got to me )

Indeed the huge loss has got to us. It has eaten KES 2.6 per share of our hard earned retained earnings. However, going forward is BRIGHT. H2 2012, KK will reverse a good portion of the damage done in H1 2012. That put into consideration, the fair buyout price should be >KES 20.

Bullish Much?
I see your now the one spearheading KK's Public relations now smile

@vvs..at 13 bob you must be at least 25% up if you did not indulge at the levels KK has been trading after the trading suspension was lifted, why would you want to hold out for a take over bid whose timeline if ever is becoming increasingly blurred, and probably losing you opportunities elsewhere?

When will employees know that a company belongs to the shareholders?

You cannot refused to be sacked, just like your employer cannot refuse your resignation.

Even the court cannot compel a company to retain an employee, just to compensate according to the contract of employment and the labour laws.

Are the employees taking a pay cut since the company has made huge losses?
Life is short. Live passionately.
