As part of defence mechanisms, management will always cite international economy, prevailing market conditions, etc for their inefficiencies. Clearly we should not analyse their perfomance by what they say. Capture this;

Cost of sales to Sales ratio 98% (2011) 93% (COS went up in 2012. Why?)
Gross profit to Income ratio 2% (2011) 7%
Growth in sales 25% (2011) 35% (with all the supa sundays campaigns?)
Efficiency ratio b4 exch losses 102% (2011)23% - using gross profit as net income. (Costs?)
Exchange losses to sales 4% (2011) 1%

So, my conclusion is that so many things went wrong in the half year not just hedging. Mr. Jacob Segman, please explain in more clear details that you are not the one running KK down because you already has an offer from PUMA when the buying price is heavily and mercilessly discounted?

Put it better could be creative accounting to scare off shareholders and ensure Puma gets its demand/request for a smooth compulsory take over.

Those employees causing issues need to be fired. Yes, I said it. And let Puma close the deal & pay out! Cash in my bank is better than with Puma!

I still believe Puma will offer 17 or more despite the horrendous loss in 1H 2012. I am sure KK has made up some of the loss in July, Aug & Sep 2012. 2012 will close with a loss since it is highly unlikely KK can make 4bn in 2H 2012.

Where is the KPC case at?

What is sad about this marriage to KK is that shareholders like @VVS couldve sold at 14bob yesterday and re entered at their original buy price of 9.50 in a matter of two weeks!

Huh? 9.50? Let's memorialize this post. It is 8.51am on 11 Sep 2012. Let's touch base on 25th Sep 2012 to see where KK's price will be. The maximum sales were done at 13.15 on 10 Sep 2012. So using 13.15 as a base (or even 14/-) let's see if it will slide to 9.50 by 25th.
