KenolKobil shares drop 8pc after half year loss - http://www.businessdaily.../-/453fe9z/-/index.html

Where is BD getting the 8% price drop? VWAP closed at 13.15 which is 12.91% down...

I suspect Puma Energy will look through the KenolKobil H1 Earnings Outcome and focus on the News of the First significant gas found offshore Kenya at The Mbawa-1 well, around 70 kms off the coast of Malindi, which found about 52 metres of gas in its shallowest target as per Britain's Tullow Oil and Australia's Pancontinental Oil & Gas and which lends further Credence to My Theory that the Last Great Energy Prize is sitting offshore from Maputo through Mogadishu and all points in between. I think The Purchase of KenolKobil for Puma is all about Leveraging KenolKobil's Footprint but also about an astute and tangential Entry into a Red Hot Oil and Gas Sector on the East SeaBoard of Africa. Therefore, I stand by my Minimum Take Out Price for KenolKobil of 17.68 from May this Year. (Rich - 10.09.2012)

@Mwekez@ji my friend, if the take out price quoted in May was 17 then be very afraid. Times have changed. Between then and now there has been a court case by workers and the massive cash required by the workers to conclude the deal was not factored in by then, because ofcourse they want more and will get it.

If the situation is not handled well, there is a big possibility that the 2 companies will not agree on terms. Lets keep watching tho

It must have been factored, how do you retrench without providing for the cost of retrenchment? Further to the court we learn a lot from the KQ case, precedent set..

And no funds for retrenchment unless puma pays a down payment i guess.

Watch KK make money in H2 2012!

You are setting yourself up for serious heartache and ulcers!!

I have issues with a management that burns 30% of shareholder funds in a hedging experiment! Im out first thing tomorrow because my reason for holding KK was not the puma buyout!

OK. Which broker do you use? How many do you want to sell? What price?

I was being greedy. I bid at 13 but someone beat me to it. Care to lower it to 13.10 tomorrow?
