@ngwono. its really great you are trying to help this girl and i sure do hope she gets well eventually. i could be wrong but this sounds like a condition known as pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) that has progressed to a chronic stage,11 years with the same condition is a really long time.the symptoms you have described are vague though. you need to have her checked asap by a reputable gyna who will examine her advise accordinly.

all the best in your endeavours

Ngwono,as a Christian,be very careful with 'herbalists'. Some of them practice stuff you might want to stay very far away from. They offer curative services as well co-curriculum services like 'kuchunga boma,kufukuza kisirani,kuita mtu aliyepotea Etc. I am sure you know where they get the power to do these things.

I am no doc but on checking around,most likely cause of this lower abdominal pain has to do with the uterus. Some form of Uterine chronic infection or malformation. The wound in the labia may also be a prolapse(part of uterus) and not the labia (lips) hence the wounding appearing is an extension of the above. Weight loss maybe due to trauma and the girl may need counseling.

This case cannot be handled by herbalist in any way,a patient gynae as recommended below is your best bet. This is because final solution may involve surgery. I think consensus is Kenyatta is the best. I am quite surprised that Kenyatta has such a good name nowadays.

ngwono,i know you believe going to a good gyne is expensive for example nairobi hospital,but what of the trauma the girls is going though and all the money being wasted on quacks? its better to pay a big sum and get cured once and for all than to insist on cheap methods that offer no real hope of cure or serious diagnosis,women are very fragile especially in matters that concern the uterus and general conception.
get the right treatment for the girl,before she becomes infertile,better a big medical bill than a sick person.

The presentation fits a description of one of the numerous growths. The age is a bit suprising. I would recommend a pelvic ultra sound scan followed by a biopsy. but i fear we could be late already considering the long time duration she has had the problem.

@Wendz et al

Finally,having taken this issue on my own,i have now come to know the name of this ugonjwa ya wamama.What many different doctors could not tell us in the past 11yrs.Its called VITILIGO.The sad news is that its not curable.Hmmmm...........I dont know what to say about 99% of our Kenyan doctors,but some are indeed Godsent not out to milk money.I bless them that have taken up their work as a calling and not a business venture.May they live long and give birth to more doctors like them.

@All those who contrubuted to this thread by providing ideas here & there,am very greatful.May our loving Father bless you for your kindness.

@Ngwono,

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitiligo,VITILIGO is a skin related disorder. Am just wondering how it leads to pains in the lower abdomen. Wounds i can understand,but pain?

AM no doc.
