Good bye mate. Too bad you are exiting at such a time when there is material negative news. 10% rule is waived. We'll bid you at the bottom of the barrel. . @Mwekez@ji hopefully one day you will realize that the worst thing an investor can do is marry a stock or follow a management blindly.. Yaani segman has blown a hole in our company and yet people still sing his praises! A change in fundamentals made me dump the following stocks since 2009. Mumias @ 14.60bob Kengen @ 21bob Kenya airways @ 46bob and now KK @ 13.59bob Each time i made these moves i was killed on wazua but at least i got rid of my monkeys! Those holding on for the puma deal.. Goodluck and i have nothing but love for you! Mark 12:29 Deuteronomy 4:16

Which broker do you use? How many do you want to sell? What price? Dyer & Blair! 55,500units 13.50bob @9.30am The volume vs price action this week will be interesting esp the bid side. @guru has decided to go for 10% price down draft way past the 14/- weak support level. Quote DN.. The loss comes at a time when the company is counting on a solid performance to boost its negotiations with Swiss firm Puma Energy to buy the majority stake in the firm.
“The group is optimistic despite the tough economic cycle, and with the ongoing potential deal between key shareholders and Puma Energy — a strategic investor — the management foresee substantial benefits crystalising upon closing of this deal,” Mr Segman said.
The oil marketer said it expects the deal to boost it in inventories management, forex exchange risk, cost of financing and better sources of products for the whole group.
Puma Energy maintains that negotiations are on course but noted that it did not have any timelines on finalising of the deal.
End Quote..

I think @guru267 is right What segman has done is inexcusable the loss is so huge one is tempted to think its deliberate...this hole will take sometime to fill up....Anyway I dont think exiting now when a buyout is in the offing is a good idea...I think I better absorb this risk for speculative purposes....and hope PUMA will not burn our fingers. End Quote.. The thought that this take over may take a long time plus we were warned of losses at half year informed my decision to sell in the 15.50-16 range, the remaining 20% i had purchased in the 60-85 price range i will sell at any price above 9.50 with no losses. This hedging business can be messy, look at what it has done to a great company.

Many people made their cash but greed won't let them sell. I still wonder what people were doing holding this counter at 15/-. Right now if I'm Puma, I wouldn't pay more than 13/- a share! Why should I while I'm coming in as the messiah? It makes business sense. BBI will solve it :)
