Why should I ? Atheists Respects freedom of mature sane individuals . We live in reality.

Lack of evidence that any supreme being exists. And if does, selfishness , greedy, violent ,racist and incompetent among many others. I sympathize that anybody can find any goodness and love in him/her
-Would you accord your kids the freedom of worship if you had some?
my kids live in a free world. We only guide them towards realization and fulfillment of their talents. They attend Sunday school in a country overwhelmingly of non believers. That's shows how harmonious and accomonditing atheist are.
-When (age) did you discover that God doesn't exist?
a former alter boy. When I left the village as an innocence child of god . I explored travelled the world and concluded how inconsistent and lacking the myth of religion

Fulfilling my responsibilities as a competent person. If e.g I demand a bribe(have never) .can result in lowering my personal esteem , doubt , as its against my understanding of life.inflicts personal guilt which as a human being is tough. But theists and worshiper just repent and forgiven by their almighty god who loves his children regardless.

Yes. 100% true. Any single person has ever come back from heaven??
Then how can you believe something you can't proof. Or a white guy must come with some Jewish or arabic manuscript to misled you. What if your forefathers had the same manuscripts?
Please keep it short and brief.
Where did you learn of 'broad family objectives?' And what are these objectives? And when were these objectives set and by who? What do you mean by 'talents'? If these things called 'talents' exist where do they come from? How can traveling provide you with logical evidence against your altar boy myths? Do you believe in justice? And if you do, can you prove it exists? Do you want to mean that you never make mistakes, or cause 'harm' to others? How do you rectify these mistakes if at all you do make them? Why have you allowed your children to attend sunday school? Did you consult them? What do you mean when you say 'individual'? And what do you mean when you say 'as long as the individual is sane'? And if, one can be theistic, sane, and your wife, why are you looking for theistic proof when you already have atheistic proof? Why do you think you have seen all theistic versions that are and can be? Is there a logical proof that all these values you have are logical?

I have always had my doubts since I was young...I had a very dear person in my life painfully suffer and then later succumb to cancer and yet we would pray everyday, have mother's union meetings come to our house every sunday for prayers, plead with god to at least not make her suffer so much, ask god why he was doing it, why he couldn't just make the pain go away, and then she lost her battle and that's when I understood that there is no go because if he were there, he would never let anybody suffer like that and do nothing about it....And if he is there and he let all that happen, then he is somebody that I would not want to be associated with at all....It would had been more fitting if he had just let her succumb early, but to keep her around for a long long time with the pain that she went through, that's bordering on saddistic...

Ham, if we changed our beliefs according to the experiences we've had then I w'ld hv chosen to be an aethist.But I chose not to cz the suffering/pain He's taken me through are nothing compared to the blessings/joy/peace I exp now.When we go through suffering,it's all we see and talk about cz our senses are dulled by pain and we can't sense God.Infact the word of God sounds like a fairy tale.
At times we rebel against God cz of suffering thinking that it will dethrone or make Him shift positions because we fail to see the bigger picture.
He never allows things to happen in vain and for every trial He gives Grace to endure.With time we heal and blessings start to flow. Then we discover how strong we are, than we used to be before the bad exp. We are also able to emphathise with others going through the same because we'v been there and emerged victorious.
I had every reason to curse God cz He once lost meaning to me when I went through hell.Lost everything I cherished,but I rose up from ashes and here I am.Happy,blessed and having fun.
Suffering/pain has 2 effects.
1. Bring you closer to God or draw u further from Him.
Mine brought me closer to God but made me wiser,balanced,stronger,bold and courageous.
I explored travelled the world and concluded how inconsistent and lacking the myth of religion
The few places I have been instead helped me realise how great God is.
Whenever I see His creation I see His might.

In short you are justified through works.
The God I believe in tells me that I am not justified through works lest I should boast and that my good works before men are like filthy rags, if God is not in the picture.
That's why I am humbled by His Grace and know that even if I receieved a trophy from man for good works and fail to give God his rightful place I am as good as nothing.

Now Muslims are starting to kill Christians in Kenya unabated in the name of religion and gods....I am glad to be an atheist ten times over.....This just proves that religion and common sense are mutually exclusive....Yo can't reason with religion, it is a waste of time and energy.
Honestly, anybody that believes in some god that's up there in the sky or talking snakes or heaven, hell or some dude called Jesus turning water into wine and the rest of that bullshit must not be very smart. That stuff would be comical if it was not so sad that people actually buy into it...
The killings will not end, it's going to be like Nigeria now that the floodgates have been opened. You evangelicals are as dumb as rocks, why can't you people just live and let live??????....Killing each other over non-existent gods? Wow. How does that solve anything????These are the consequences of weak minds.
Where was this god guy of yours that you keep worshipping everyday to intercede and stop these goons from killing children in a Sunday school???Was he taking a nap? Where was he? Was he taking a dump while that happened? What's his excuse for letting something this cruel happen to kids????...Was your god just content with sitting on his ass and watching children get bombed in a church and killed? Why couldn't he stop it or do something to prevent it? Or is he too busy sending people to "burn in eternal fire" that he did not have time to save kids from these terrorists????Akili ndogo like what religious people have is very dangerous...These are the results of religion, kids dying in Sunday school...
As some of you here know, I am an avid supporter of kids and children's rights...Kids are innocent and don't need to suffer as a result adult stupidity...It pisses me off that kids were hurt and killed in Juja Road because some stupid adults were trying to prove that their god has a bigger dick than the other side's god...Stupid stupid stupid....
Are your gods (allah and jehaovah or whatever their names are) happy to see kids getting killed in their names? Stupid religions.
