According to this article M7 is breathing fire,

-On August 25, Museveni issued a statement of condolence to the families of the seven Ugandan soldiers who died in the crashes. He said he had little to say because he was “indignant and disappointed.”

-Then he addressed a wider regional audience, suggesting that if anyone in Somalia or East Africa thought the loss of the helicopters had weakened his forces, they needed to think again. Museveni said the country had “millions of reserve fighters.”

-He then passed an early verdict: “I cannot listen to stories of bad weather on the mountain. Mountains are clearly shown on maps. We never fly over mountains with helicopters, especially the combat ones." With that, Museveni basically narrowed the possible causes of the accidents to two.
First, wrong judgement by senior Uganda military forces who, he said, “once in a while, act negligently or high-handedly resulting in unnecessary losses.”
Or, second, sabotage. Still, even if someone in Kenya had sent the helicopters on a dangerous path as an act of sabotage, that should nevertheless have been figured out by the Uganda Air Force.

I knew this was coming

But why would anyone want to sabotage 2003 choppers while we have top of the range Mi-28N (Russsian equivalent to the famed AH-64 Longbow Apache) and a full well-equipped/trained rotary wing that is one of the largest in east and central africa?
Heck - this is the very wing that has been giving the al kefafus sheer hell!
It is akin to having a Merc but want to destroy your ka Vitz - I gain zilch, don't make sense at all.
And why did those Ug. choppers chose to fuel at a private airstrip, avoiding base za Kenya Airforce?
And the lead pilot flew all the way to Somalia without noticing that his colleagues were not following him? d'oh!

Intel, the issue is not whether we sabotaged M7's toys or not. Just as he is not addressing Al shabibi in this tirade. He has been itching to show .ke that he has bigger balls than us, reason he invaded Migingo, Etc. He wants a fight, and I think one of these days he will just get it.

NOOOOO!
Ug. and Kenya are siblings in E.A and Ug is our largest trade partner.
Do you know how many Kenyan students are in Ug? More than 40,000.
Do you know how many kenyans run/ occupy plum positions in Ug businesses (hotels, banks, mobile Co.'s, etc) - tens of thousands!
Do you know how many kenyan businesses have invested/ are planning to invest in Ug? KCB,NIC, Equity,DTB,Nakumatt, Uchumi, etc

In short our stake in that country is so huge, we would be the main losers? For what? Just coz of a preso with expansionist designs, yet teh ordinary ssebo is a humble very accomodative man?
War is out -it aint worth it, wont happen - take all this Ug did this, Kenya did this as a sibling rivalry that must never be escalated to nationwide hostilities. Shame on you
In fact the region is coming together much closely with Sudan, Ethiopia and Somali the next frontiers for our expanding businesses.

We must develop a strong military as a deterrence, so that migingo-likes don't happen again.
As the tyre add says:
Power is nothing without control, no?

Intel, I very much agree with your analysis, but what I am saying is that should less level headed guys such as pambaa make it to the house on the hill, we may have have less control. Baks has actually handled the bully quite well
