Is going on strike the only way to resolve industrial disputes?

...interesting bit striking staff usually forget...rise in salary automaticaly moves them to a higher tax bracket where tax is higher per shilling than previous bracket. :)

..why not rather than clamor for higher salary instead clamour for better terms comparable to the salary..eg...reduced work hours on the same salary... freeing you to do side hustles...considering popular teaching is you can only become rich thro business..why not demand lesser hours on your current salary..and extra time left..u put on side business..ege...private tution...etc?

In increasing salary..the taxman benefits more than any civil servant, :)

Not true at all, the maximum the taxman can take of the increase is 30%!!!!

Now Govt threatens to sack all striking teachers, employ over 100,000 jobless one and also recruit retirees below the age of 65!!!
