I suspect he is.

But why hasn't his publisher released sales data of the book so far?

He is definitely not the best selling given the book price and duration it has been in the market. His however might be the most illegally circulated book in Kenya. What with the PDF version widely availed via email? His might end up as the most widely read book in Kenya especially during the forthcoming political season.

Best selling? definitely not, many people though have read it. It depends on his objective, was it to make sales or to pass the message or a quest for justice. I'm almost sure that the guy may be receiving finances from other quarters, read politicians.

...was on palaver jana, infact the amount he has sold cannot sustain his hotel room costs, so the big boys are helping him with that!!!!

Did you mean best selling or most available? Because most people have free copies.

BBI will solve it

I salute him for one thing: He has helped me identify, with reasons, who I will NOT vote for. Who I will vote for, I still don't know.

Most Kenyans, myself included, are not readers. It is not an issue of money. Even if this book was sold for 500, most would still not read it. I am in possession of the FORA-distributed free PDF copy and am yet to go past the preface. I know Githongos bk is available but I havent read it too. Apart from set books, the best sell could be Kiriamiti. My last local read was 3 days on the cross by Wahome Mutahi
