@burglar, you may be an atheist but calling terrorism religious war is stretching it. Have you heard of mosques being attacked? It is only churches being attacked. Remember, before our troops landed in Somalia, we had only 1 case of religious conflict in Kenya-the burning of a catholic church in South B around 2000. This is terrorism. Not muslim-christian war!!

Btw @hamburger, most wars are not religious. They are mostly ethnic. The rise in Islamic fundamentalism has led to a rise in religious conflict-Fact. But that does not negate the fact that the Sudanese war, the war in Somalia, DRC, Rwanda, even Kenyas PEV had nothing to do with faith. So quit blaming religion. Would u consider starting 1 thread to push your atheist agenda? Unatuchafulia threads

something that most people on this forum don't know is that - you cannot escape the 'Christianity' tag! that will never happen. unless you become a muslim or a hindu. the reason churches were burnt was because in the minds of the attackers - it was not a Muslim act therefore it was a Christian act. in the minds of these guys there is no such thing as an atheist. so mr burger - upende usipende - you are 'christian' in their eyes.
On other news - who remembers the time that a swine's head was thrown into Jamia mosque? what was the controversy at that period in time?
Who remembers

Of all the countries Mr burger has mentioned - religion played a pivotal role in getting them where they are however it was used by the aristocrats at the time to suppress the people. the reason they are fighting it is because of its negative role in their history. however for much of the third world and America this is not the case! Religion has not been part of oppression but rather hope.

we have to thank these so called christians for this perspective. there is absolutely no difference in their lives between them and atheists. they are only good in easy hypokrisy and verbal assertions when taken to task which very fortunately melts like butter on a hot pan upon closer scrutiny. they dont live according to their profession. if only there was a difference how they live their lives! a pig will find it easier to fly than these christians to do that.

i dare say these christians have ruined it for others and are still leading countless others to ruin. if only they could make it easier for those who want to be distinct from them to do so in peace.

if only they become open atheists once and for all.

@hamburger. While I respect your opinion, I think that you are out rightly wrong. The fact is that we sometimes have to draw the line. Muslim fundamentalists are fellas who think that theirs’ is the only true religion and have therefore proclaimed death unto the others. I have never come across a case where anyone has successively reasoned with them in the past and I don’t think that it is going to start with us. We should not be afraid to look at evil in the eye and deal with it. The issue we are having is a classic example of a situation where the saying “dawa yo moto ni moto” applies.
