Iniesta proved to be the best playmaker.

3-2 in favour of Barcelona. Pedro, Mesi, Xavi, Ronaldo and Di Maria scoring.

Mo must be really mad at Barca, this is the one team that keeps frustrating him since his move to Spain!!!

I wonder how he has not yet won the footballer of the year award, I think he is the heart of the barca attack.

Iniesta's movement and pass that set up Xavi for the 3rd goal was most sublime skill I've seen in a while. And what a howler from Valdez...totally left the game wide open for the return leg

Barca's play is still MAGIC. Wow, those guys can dazzle guys and Mo' is in for a long haul La Liga chase. The small boys are maturing. And Messi yah Messi is just that Messi.

Valdez, surely.

Season 2: Madrid are 2 up against Barca courtesy of Higuain and Ronaldo, can they sustain a comeback?

Ended 2-1, after Messi pulled one back. Adriano was red carded on the half hour mark after a foul on Ronaldo when he was clear. Madrid take the spanish super cup on away goals rule,(4-4) goals aggregate.

in the second half one would think that Real madrid were ten men... they were strugling!!!!
anyhow they played exceptionally well in the first half and they deserved the cup...
If you dont want to use plan B, have a good plan A.

I think it more like two injuries in a space of three days to Barca's back line, and two blunders thanks to Mascherano and Pique.
Adriano was awful, next time we have Alves and Puyol out, i think Song would do a much better job than Adriano.
He was lucky to have missed a yellow minutes earlier.
Barca lost, congrats to Real, but the better team so far, Barca.
Lady luck seems to be deserting us at the time of reckoning.
