You could also buy a few fully grown hens and a cock. Have them lay and sit on their eggs and build up your kienyeji stock from there. One chicken could give you 8 chicks or more depending on how you keep them.

I am very interested in keeping kienyeji chicken. I have 1 acre of land and i think it is big enough to start the business. My challege is how to costruct the houses and how many hen per one cockerel, Any ideas, Any one?

Hi,

Can give advice on contruction of chicken house. You need at least 7-9 hens per one cockerel.
