I was in Kileleshwa yesterday afternoon and got stuck in the worst jam i have seen in recent times. It took me 2 hrs to get from Kileleshwa police station to chiromo road/Riverside. The jam had spilled into waiyaki way on both sides - from town and from westlands. I hope it was a one off occurrence. But with all those apartments in the area, the roads need urgent expansion. I saw some road works which hopefully will remedy the situation. I don't know what the experience of the kile residents is. I just hope they do not endure that kind of suffering daily.

Its usually not that bad over there,it must have been as a result of the road construction or other factors.What i know is that there is usually a very horrid jam at the crossroads near Holy Trinity catholic church during peak hours.Those ching chongs will have to sort that out asap.

Nothing wrong in being stuck on the cool sides of nbo.
Clean road,airy environment,nice scenery,people behaving normally, I do not mind.
Switch off,relax and count trees.
But Pray oh pray, that you don't get stuck in some densely populated area,on a crazy bridge with smelly sewage water flowing under,some being splashed on ur car as you wait for jam to clear.
Then add the smoke from burning rubber,fish vendors and you will learn to thank God for small mercies.

@XYZ.
You love being poor,don't you?smile
Truth is,I love normalcy,order,cleanliness,soberness I mean people behaving like people and leaving animals to behave like animals. We just tend to posess some 'animalistic tendencies'

Now XYZ,tell me how many millions does one need to create a mentally sober society.

Miss the old Kile, when the jam was at chiromo rd or opposite Kenya high.when Kasuku wasn't there and you had to shop in Westlands or Valley arcade.

The contractor is not Chinese

They look like Kalasingas; and there are some site inspectors who look Japanese...perhaps linked to JICA, the co-financiers of the project.
