@Apple Bees - You are in luck. Their policy is "If you want to avoid the penalties, pay the lump sum". You don't even have to negotiate. They will simply give you the statement, you give them a cheque and voila you are one debt down!!!
Hey, just stumbled upon this thread an it sounds just like what I need. Here's my situation: I too was saddled with a lot of liability by way of accumulated monthly fines. In fact, these were erroneous but I never had any success contesting the fact so I'm stuck with them like that. However, I've been paying diligently for the last 10 months now. I'm willing to give these guys a lump sum if they can waiver the fines. Is it accurate to expect to pay the principle plus interest accrued to date less the much I've already remitted? If some one knows, please advice me. Thanks.
