It can be short or long depending on where you are in life's stage.

If you still have a lot to accomplish it looks very short.
If you have terminal illness it seems long.
If you have accomplished so much and are in ur sunset years it may look long.
If life sucks for you, it looks long.
If you are having bliss, it looks short.
If you are a wazuan it looks short.

Guys are always saying life is short.I think its that way for people with families who are settled and financially comfortable but for sufferers imo (i speak for myself here) life can be veeery long. Its like am on slow motion coz these years are really dragging.d'oh!

... stop counting days and years what is important is what you have accomplished in those years for yourself and for those to come after you.

...very true, try and better yourself and those around you...do new thingz,be a positive figure and no matter the shortness or how long you will, live, you would have lived life to its fullest.

life was meant to be simple, I mean man like the other animals was to eat, sleep, look for food, mate and then mate some more but someone somewhere spoilt the party by coining the word "why" when man asked "why" then there begun our tribulations and triumphs as mankind

The only time in my life when i felt that days were dragging was when i was in school. Right now everything is happening so fast.

Think of life as a journey. You go up mountains and hills down valleys and through some flat terrain.

When you are going uphill and you are meandering through thickets and rocks you do so slowly. These are the times that life seems very long. You can only take one step at a time. You lift your head up and sometimes cannot tell where you are and cannot even see where you are going but you can see only a few feet ahead.

Then you hit an open field and everything seems clear, you can move with ease and you can see miles ahead and and all around you. These times life seems easy and good.

Then there are the really glorious and short downhills, everything in the world just seems to go right for you, this is what people call KUANGUKIA. And no sooner have you started enjoying the feeling of it than it is all gone.

So depending on where you are it may seem long or short but whatever you do, DO NOT FORGET that it is a journey, you will soon be past the hard part and onto the easy part or there are mountains coming up in your life or there is a beautiful valley with a scenic lake ahead so as Johnie Walker says KEEP WALKING.

True.Life's a journey full of trials and tribulations,it cant be smooth sailing all the time. There are ups and downs, good times and bad, smile and Sad and we're all lucky and blessed to be alive which reminds me of this Sydney J. Harris quote:"When i hear somebody sigh,"Life is hard,"I'm always tempted to ask,"Compared to what?"

Life is flying by, so much to do there is little time to raise up my nose and smell the muddy smell of the first few rains drops, pluck fresh grass, listen to toads at night, the chirping birds in the wee hours of the morning.
From my point,life is short.
The other day i stood at Revlon plaza at night and took a look of Kimathi street,i can't believe all my life i had not seen that street that way.
There is so much life that we are missing chasing money only to die when we get it.
To make up for all the lost time, allow yourself to be silly from time to time.

Hii mambo ya kuwa smart all the time kills life. No fun.
