Does it say you pay 100,000 for this plate? This is excellent news! I am sure that money can help somebody somewhere. If you are dumb enough to pay that much for some piece of vanity (and also tell all and sundry who you are and where you are going), you are certainly entitled to your foolishness!

I agree with you quicksand. I even think that for personal vehicles, vanity should be priced higher. I think the guys who opt for this have more elastic incomes or should I say sources of money and therefore a one-off fee of 100k is way below their willingness to pay. I would have thought of about 300-500K with an additional annual charge of 50K.

No use of letter 0 and I. Why?

Now I can realise my dream.... Watch out for a 'slutbanger' number plate on your rear view mirrors.

Actually I have to get a car first, but those are details.

Nobody said it isn't OK ...but it is stupid. People are allowed to be stupid and we are allowed to laugh at them. If you buy an expensive designer suit, you don't remove the label and paste it on the outside, ..or embroider your name on the lapel, but you are perfectly free to do so. The principle is broadly similar.

This might just be the death of people buying cars going by their number plates with a 2005 KBS costing more than a 2009 KBM etc.
