I welcome the panic, sub 9 bob and I will board again.

@ 14.00 i go in NSSF style...
Not sure that is a plus! You might have a piece of paper that is backed by another piece of paper backed by another piece of paper backed by jirongo.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly well everything is a risk... but not Jirongo style, just buy in bulk the way NSSF does

The beta/risk here is very high and the risk return principle is the maxim for you. You’ll make big or loose big. There is no limbo here

I've put my bid on the board. Its in my "buy more"
territory.

look at the demand at 14.00-14.20! there are some poachers out there

# speculation galore. Any trades right now had better have a strict stop loss limit and profit taking point

Let us stop and think for one moment, Sir Nicholas K. Biwott, his investment and brokerage firm gave a fair value of KES 17 plus a few cents. Do we for one moment think that Biwott will sell this for less than that? is he desperate for cash? Will his right hand man JS not advise against a sell below the hinted fair value? Since Puma wants a takeover will they get the other top dogs selling at a price less than the hinted fair value? Think!!

Kenyans are used to loosing at the last moment after working so hard we get beaten on the line..... Ethiopians know this, now Ugandans are creeping in... .. we loose our concentration and focus at the last moment....

@jamani, stop giving investors motisha, just buy, this deal is on, next week or thereafter we will get a double announcement. What I love is, we between now and then we will get to see who has the bottle for staying at the market and betting on it turning out profitably, which I suspect it will!!

The takeover will do all KK good (save for some employees). Without the takeover and the profit warning plus dim outlook without Puma, things will be bad (all brokers would downgrade their valuation of KK in a big way). #Puma is the only anchor preventing the share price from drifting downwards. #Re-look the books + warning and you’ll affirm that

If Puma pulls out your suggestion will take effect for a short time, personally i look forward to that scenario.

Remove puma from the picture. what do you get?
A well run firm that has had a bad H1 2012, that had an earth shattering year last. projected earnings for the next 2 years are very good. EPS of +2.0.
If deal falls through, of course the share will take a serious plunge.
After that i will buy more by the bucket load.
But this deal is so on.
Truth be told buying now is speculative.
