Kenya’s fuel consumption for the first half of the year dropped marginally by 4,780
metric tonnes, reflecting
stunted economic growth
and reduced usage of diesel to generate electricity.
The total fuel consumption remained almost flat at 1.74
million metric tonnes during the first six months of the year, according to leading
data from the bureau of
statistics.
The reduction is attributed to the good rains in the first half of the year which cut
reliance on thermal
generated electricity as well as the record high prices of fuel which reduced consumption.

@you. This is my thought. Kestrel merely valued the business. But when it comes to selling a premium must be added for obvious reasons. The potential you are selling, the fact u agreed to sell etc. 25 is what i think, but hey in the black kitambo.

Aguy, their figure of 20.13-21.00 included a 15-20 percent premium. Their fair value for KK was 17.50

However, maybe since that time, Biwott decided to play hard ball;-)

@maka,

*shareholders will not incur transaction charges when selling to Puma in the takeover deal.

*Puma will most likely make payment to us via cheque, EFT and Telegraphic Transfer(TT). We will know the detail of this when we get there.

*Read through the thread, you will find very enlightening posts by wazuans and by the sage VVS

Really at these prices? Don't you think you are cutting it too close. What if it is 17.00.
