A growing India my butt!!.....The only thing i have seen in quite a number of Indian state cities is more shat than you will see anywhere else.To be honest,it's miserable being an Indian.
Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

They're probably more worried with investing in their growing economy to invest in olympics and sports development. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry much about India, they're just fine without any medal!

China is more worried about international imagine than anything else, China would do anything to appear to outstage anyone for national pride........ so it is fair to say China priorities includes international sportings and India priorities does not necessaryly include international sportings.

@Rollout, What you are saying is, the rest of the world cares about 'imagine', sorry,eeeh,image but India doesn't?
Then why do they care about cricket [World cup]?

Read somewhere.....In term Olympics Michael Phelps is bigger than India. The celebrated swimmers has won 18 Olympics gold in comparison to (I think) 11 golds for India in its 112 years participation in Olympics.
