Halo wazuans, I must say it's a blessing to land on this great site. For the past few days i have been a keen follower on the ongoing trends in the site, as smart minds here engage in enlightening others on matters to do with financial wisdom. Am interested in opening an account at the NSE market, I don't stay in the country but will be visiting there before the end of the year for roughly a week. Is it possible within that time frame to open up a CDS account with a broker and be able to manage it through online? and how effective is the internet transactions from the already available brokerage firms back home. I kindly ask for guidelines from the experts and any other wazuan with inside knowledge on the matter.Am kenyan by Citezenship, just incase.

Cheers all....

1. Open a CDS Account with one or 2 brokerage firms, a few have an online portal /trading system eg Dyer and Blair and CFC then trade. What you will need is proof that your Kenyan so have your ID/passport with u

@murchr, @ youcan'tstopusnow, thanks for your kind response. Actually all my documents are up to date coz mimi ni mkenya halisi from mashinani, my main worry is that, can i be able to open the CDS account within a week and start trading online? Sometimes the system back home takes along time to process a simple deal. If any one of us here at wazua has opened an account of late pliz enlighten on how fast the brokerage firm did it. Welcome all.

You don't need days. Its like opening a bank account. You can then do EFT to the broker and trade online.
Life is short. Live passionately.
