Saw this up Mbagathi road. What courses are being offered? What are the guidelines in establishing a University?

...Riara university is owned by the gachukias just like makini is owned by the okellos.

.......you also can establish who owns kabarak university,cant you? ........now pls focus your primitive energy on studying or opening a university !

Riara family is owned by many people i know the former VC of KeMU is the majority shareholder a Mr Mugambi. but they have teamed up with Gachukia's and to use an already existing name

The university is sitiated right at the exit of Kibera to Industrial area!!!

Thanks for the rules;

Noted, 2nd Schedule, Part 2 -Minimum standards, 5 (h) Each University to have outdoor recreation facilities in form of games or sports facilities;

AND

PART VIII-LAND REQUIREMENTS
53. Every university shall produce evidence of owning land capable of supporting a student population of at least 500 students and for the purposes of this paragraph the land area required to support a student population of 500 shall be 20 hectares.
54. Every university shall show evidence of owning land on freehold terms, or for a leasehold term of not less than 45 years; and .....
(ii) the main university campus shall be built on a parcel of land not less than half the

59. All administrative buildings shall be located on the main campus and must be so situated as to be clearly visible from the road approach.

61. A university shall have or shall have access to at least one standard athletics track enclosing a football pitch, at least one standard lawn tennis pitch, one standard volleyball pitch, one standard badminton or tenniquoit pitch and one standard netball court.
62. For the purpose of paragraph 61 a university shall set aside [b]at least five hectares of land for outdoor sports
for the first five hundred students and at least two hectares for every additional two hundred students.


Ama this University has bought some other land somewhere?

You cant rule out with all the Kitengela and Kiserian of this world. Apparently, all the universities with roots in nairobi apart from the 6 old govt owned have something in those areas.

What about the many campuses in the Nairobi CBD, where is the space/playground????
