Have just watched a story on Citizen about a Kenyan couple who went to Zanzibar for honeymoon but two weeks later, nothing has been heard about them. its feared that they may have been among the passengers in the recent ferry disaster... sad news

And their photo has really circulated on FB. Wonder if such circulation is useful in anyway?
Lord, thank you!

Was wondering the same thing, how does it help exactly?? They are missing in Zanzibar not Kenya where the photo is circulating.

So fb is not available in Zanzibar and thus no need to post pictures there?

Dude you need to start thinking quick.... H-O-W D-O-E-S C-I-R-C-U-L-A-T-I-N-G T-H-E P-I-C-T-U-R-E A-M-O-N-G Y-O-U-R F-R-I-E-N-D-S O-N F-B H-E-L-P T-H-E-M G-E-T F-O-U-N-D? They did not just disappear, they went for honeymoon in Zanzibar and cannot now be traced after the ferry disaster.

.....i think the issue serves to raise awareness more than getting the beloved couple back.am sure they already fear for the worst deep down.

......the ferry only took peoples first names into the register,no ids,no pp copies, nothing, just slightly better than the one at likoni!
.......they are all inefficient and don't want to be embroiled in compensation issues.

.......how many people were eventually declared missing in the dar ferry before they called of the search in the vast indian ocean?

Some people....P-thinking again.

Of course circulation is useful. For the family especially. Whats so bad about giving hope the family. I'd do the same. Until I found them, I would hold on to hope and keep on looking. Someone somewhere in kenya, ugunja, zimbabwe, anywhere saw them and can help bring closure.

There are many other people who board without getting a receipt and therefore there names do not appear on the manifest.

Some guys with excess primitiv energy have decided that the couple drawn and so no need to circulate their pics! They forget the pic may help with investigation through the eye witness....like hotels they might have eaten on their way to the berth.

Ok let me try explaining my primitive self smile , the couple disappeared around Zanzibar at the same time the tragedy occurred. Now, i came across the pic being circulated on fb where guys are just commenting and pouring their hearts out to the family which is a good thing OR not to the family depending on where you stand. Am not sure how this helps with investigations.... where unlike a missing person whose whereabouts are completely unknown and a picture circulation may help people who may have recently seen them contact authorities. In this case we know they were due to get into Zanzibar so we have narrowed down the search, so IMHO the authorities have a rough idea on where to look. Anyway like all primitive creatures i could be wrong.

You really don't have to call yourself primitive. Impunity can do it for you.

Unless you know where they are right now and aren't telling us, then you don't know.

If you don't know please let the family, friends, non-friends and even haters look for them as best as they know how.

When its your own, you will learn that any support given, however useless it seems, is support needed.
